You get root access and a running hypervisor underneath you. We handle the physical hardware, network, and virtualisation layer. Everything above that (OS updates, firewall, application stack, backups) is your responsibility. We don't log into your VPS or manage your software.

Standard Linux templates are available at deploy time, including Debian, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, and Alpine. You can also upload a custom ISO if you need something else.

No. NanoVPS is intentionally bare, you get SSH and root access, not a bundled control panel. Install your own if you want one.

Basic volumetric filtering happens at the network edge on all plans. It's not a substitute for application-level protection on anything mission-critical.

Not by default. Weekly off-box snapshots are available as a paid add-on, mention it when you order. We recommend keeping your own backups regardless.
